Having just written this list I’m going to start this post with an apology on behalf of all removal companies for being so confusing!!! It’s only when you sit and write a list like this you realise how many different words we all choose to use….it’s like a foreign language! Hopefully this will help you, a bit like that French phrasebook that managed to get me the best ice cream ever in a sleepy village on the Dordogne!! Mmmmmm…..

Whether you are moving in the UK, moving to USA or moving to Australia there is one small yet important detail that could save you time and a whole lot of frustration. 

I thought packing for my house removals project was going well but when I recently talked to some of our crews about how long it was taking me to pack they laughed, “We’d have all that done in a few hours” they said of a job that was taking me days…. Which got me wondering why was I so much slower?

House removals can be a stressful time with so much to think about and co-ordinate. Being well organised is key. This is where packing an essentials box for the day of your move will certainly help in having easy access to all of those items you'll need for the journey and especially when you first arrive.
